Question 1

Where do you train?

Accepted Answer

Classes are held in Edgemead and Monte Vista. Women also come from nearby suburbs within about 10 km, including Bothasig, Plattekloof, Burgundy Estate, Goodwood, Panorama, and Bellville. There is not a hall in each of those suburbs. The current venue goes out on WhatsApp instead of as one fixed street address.

Question 2

When are classes?

Accepted Answer

Class times are on the classes page. Which class sits in each slot changes with the monthly timetable on WhatsApp.

Question 3

Are the classes women-only?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The main Fun Fitness classes are women-only. Occasionally, additional paid sessions may be offered for husbands, partners, or boyfriends.

Question 4

Do I need experience?

Accepted Answer

No. Your fitness level does not matter. Classes are for all levels, and beginners are welcome. Exercises are shown with a simpler option so you can take part safely.

Question 5

How do I join Fun Fitness?

Accepted Answer

Message Richelle on WhatsApp and say whether you want the R50 trial, a drop-in, one class a week, the joining month, or the Unlimited Pass. Once you register, you are added to the WhatsApp group where the monthly schedule and updates go out.

Question 6

How long is a class?

Accepted Answer

Most classes run for 45 to 60 minutes.

Question 7

What does the Unlimited Pass include?

Accepted Answer

The Unlimited Pass is R450 a month for all classes (except water aerobics). You can train as often as you like. Water aerobics is R80 a class.

Question 8

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Comfortable clothes, water, and a towel. Richelle will say if a class needs a mat or small equipment.

Question 9

Can I do more than one class in a day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Mixing classes is normal. The Unlimited Pass is the straightforward way to do that without paying per visit.

Question 10

Are classes suitable for different ages?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Classes are adaptable for teens, adults, and older adults, with guidance so you can take part at your own pace.

Question 11

Are workouts adaptable if I am a beginner or have a sore spot?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Richelle adapts cues and offers simpler options so beginners and mixed fitness levels can stay in the room. Tell her about a concern before class. This is coaching, not medical advice — speak to a health professional about an injury or condition.

Question 12

What if I cannot finish a class?

Accepted Answer

Rest, then rejoin if you want to. Part of a class still counts. You are asked to work at your own pace.
